My Review of Nancy Drew: The Case of the Lost Song by Carolyn Keene
This may have been a kid's type of book, but it was pretty good for a mystery story.
I originally got this book back when I purchased a Nancy Drew game. The game is called "Nancy Drew: The Final Scene" and it's the fifth mystery in the Nancy Drew game series. The book came free with the game, and I couldn't wait to read it.
I was hoping the book would be as good and filled with suspense as the game is, and it was. Keene does a great job in the book of creating a good mystery plot that keeps you hooked until you find out who committed the crime.
(Shockingly, I found out that Keene is not an actual author. It's a pseudonym used by various different authors who write Nancy Drew mysteries. It was a total surprise. I always thought that it was a real author, but obviously I was wrong. Whatever author decided to be "Carolyn Keene" to write this book did a fantastic job. I can't say I'm disappointed.)
Overall, it was very interesting. I am a total sucker when it comes to mysteries, and this one does an amazing job at being one. I recommend this to anyone, no matter what age, that wants to read a good, fast, and suspense-filled book.
